That resting witch face is gonna start paying off because Halloween is almost here and some of our fave makeup influencers and TikTok queens have been working their false lashes off to give us tons of inspo. Be warned, this year Halloween is big news, what with it being # canceled in 2020. According to Pinterest, searches for “Halloween Inspiration” were already 3x greater in August this year, compared to last. Looks like people have come ready.
If you don’t feel quite as prepared though, stick with us, we’ve rounded up the biggest Halloween makeup looks from social media and pop culture this year to make sure you’re banging on-trend.
And why not make the most of it? Halloween is the makeup highlight of the year. It’s the only occasion when it’s permissible (coughs preferable) to adorn our faces with intricate designs, special effects, and layers of face paint. And whether you want yours to be creepy, gory and covered with fake blood, or completely cutesy, we’ve got all the inspiration you need. Even better, there are some thrillers that have been hitting our screens in the lead-up that serve as ideal inspiration for a Halloween transformation
